Once while I was playing, A PI had an ERT as an assistant. They were both in the control room so, I ask the ERT to leave but he said he was his assistant. Then, I check with a SI and he said it was okay as long as he didn’t cause any trouble. Is this allowed? Please respond to this as I really want to know.

I doubt it is, and I have a feeling that the PI and ERT had planned it so they could bend the COMM+ in CR rule.
Nobody really cares about assistants in any way, but it’s no excuse to bypass the Restricted Areas rule.
That was not allowed.

Yeah, that’s what I thought also.
Anyone can have an “assistant”, but not in the control room. Next time try to confront these people and if they don’t do anything then you can call the administrator with the reason EUA (Entering Unauthorized Areas). So the summary is that this is not allowed.
