Does anyone still use blackout as a shift/inspecting?

I never seen someone did blackout in my life, and it’s rare to see some CP+ doing blackout, why people are rarely doing blackout?

I’ve only attended a blackout once they are definitely a lot more rare

It’s harder to set up.

  1. for shifts, blackouts are never done for a few reasons, you gotta get the key, then team urself inmate/criminal to turn off the power, then get the key again to turn it on. its also borderline impossible to mark passers since you cant communicate thru radio
  2. for inspections, blackout drills are mandatory
