For example, ERT telling COs to patrol, or Wardens telling any other LR to go patrol or anything. (characters)
I’m pretty sure only PI+ can boss around lower ranks.
Somebody double-check me.

Yes, PI may give orders.

yes but only if they do break r7le and shi
They are allowed to give orders but the orders only have to be followed if they are reasonable. So a PI can’t go around ordering lower ranks to break rules.
Hi there, @ihateventaccs!
I am stormjust29, a CAC here at Stateview, and a game administrator. The short answer is yes, the long answer is no.
Simple explanation: Yes, you may command anyone lower than yourself.
Advanced explanation: Yes, you may order lower ranks, as long as it does not encourage to any sort of abuse, or misleading them to violate Roblox ToS. If you ever see a lower rank not following your commands, let it be, (Unless against our rules) and don’t mind them. If it however breaks any of Stateview’s rules, say ‘Modcall (their user) (what they are doing that breaks rules)’ However, abusing your authority, or making officers, or inmates believe you are a person of authority has consequences. I hope this helped! If not, let me know and we can find out about another solution.
Regards,
stormjust29

Well, there’s a catch. When I order the lower ranks to do something, they just ignore me and don’t do what I ask them to in-game. But when a PI commands them, they just listen immediately. Can anyone explain this nonsense?
Probably because the rank “Prison Inspector” sounds higher than it actually is so really low ranks might think that they’ll get in trouble for not following his/her orders.
these kids dont listen to anyone the best way to get them to listen is to trap them in a box, straight up ban them or keep them detained
My rank is Superintendent by the way.
Not how it works my friend. First, you do not have anymore authority, and while being a low rank, your rank is simply the same.
