Starting off with Wardens, W+ can help in trainings. To do well when helping, follow these steps.
- Use Grammar - Using your Grammar is an essential part of not only trainings but also shifts. As someone who can help manage the session you need to use your grammar. The game tracks the grammar you use when you are able to manage. Not using your grammar can bring down the overall rating of the shift.
- Participate - Make sure if you’re chosen as helper, always ask to do stuff like scenarios, ESPECIALLY if there’s a co-host because they usually help with scenarios and you still need to mark players or it will look like you didn’t do anything on BloxCord.
- Know the rules - If you are chosen to be helper and to do scenarios, always make sure you know the rules so that when the player answers you will know if they passed. Use the proper format -[Scenario]- and even if the player said the right thing if they didn’t use the correct format they cannot be marked to pass it.
- Be verified - If you are not already verified in intel and main, I advise you to study the handbook multiple times before ever even thinking about trying to help in a training because you clearly aren’t ready to help in a training if you aren’t.
Before we begin this stage of this guide, this is about co-hosting in a shift, but if you are a warden reading this, this part is strictly for SI+.
Finally, let’s finish off with SI+ co-hosting. Follow these steps to succeed in a shift as co-host.
- Begin the session by simply greeting the attendees. Saying stuff like, “Hello, I’m [Username], your co-host, and today I will be assisting in this shift.” Or another friendly greeting.
- When choosing roles for posts, I reccomend putting any ranks higher than Deputy Warden—Response, Captain, or Patrol.
- Make sure to watch each and every attendee closely to make sure they use the “[Role] [Text]” Format correctly and to see how they handle situations, if they report stuff through the radio, and make sure they are at their post unless it’s lockdown. If they pass this phase, mark them as passing for that phase.
- During lockdown, look for the attendees that report when there’s no more inmates left or who transports the most inmates. Also, watch for attendees that say that they have just transported an inmate even though they haven’t. Mark the people you decided passed in BloxCord.
- Finally, but not least, after the host finishes announcing the passers, say, “It has been wonderful being your co-host, you are all dismissed!” Or another friendly thing to end the shift and dismiss the attendees. After this, make sure you grade yourself and your fellow managers of the shift based on how well you think they did.
