First: ItzSunFl0ver is not actually a game moderator, but a support agent and Stateview High Rank. It is in fact not overpunishing, as there was no specific statement about that that would go against what I am saying.
Also, what I meant with don’t expect to be promoted a lot: Killing inmates when they are not posing a direct threat will make you look like a worse player. It is not advised to kill single inmates who are crossing the line and are otherwise peaceful.
Please, when reading something, try to understand it.
Well, then it’s really sad when support agents don’t seem to know that. I understand what are you trying to say, but I was just simply stating the fact that you cannot be punished for kiling inmates after they cross the red line, you are just adding the role-play aspect to it. But afterall It really messes things up when each moderator or support agent has a different opinion on the rules, which can actually confuse players.
Again, the support agents did not say anything I disagree with. Promotion factors/professionalism is seperate from the rules. It’s simply your Interpretation.
To refresh your knowledge a bit: The discussion concluded with inmates being killable past the line, however using cuffs is a nicer way of roleplaying and more “impressive” as it is a bit harder.
That also works, but killing them would make them respawn over and over again which would ultimately lead to them not attempting it anymore. Both methods are effective in their own ways.
You simply can’t sustain regular prison operations with a riot like that. Even if you can control the riot itself, it will go worse than just using warnings.
I’m talking about my own experience which might be something that you haven’t witnessed. I am a part of the Overseer Command team which is specialized to control riots with special tools. I have the necessary skill and tools to handle riots and I’m perfectly capable of using the correct technique and strategy when doing this.
There are classified processes which occur that can help me seize control of riots. I’m just saying, you are talking about your own experience, while I am talking about mine.
