Give CP some perms that (I want more unnecessary authority)

Give CP some perms for sessions, this would make alot of sense because it is not too much power and it would take some work off of the shoulders of supervisors for CPs. Who is with me? This really needs to happen…

The purpose of the chairperson rank is to discover how to host sessions.
At this point, chairpersons can not be fully trusted and some of them may not yet understand the proper use of commands. Too many people would abuse them by wrongfully using those commands. For example, outside of a session.

Yeah kinda makes sense but I am a new CP (As you know) It would be nice to have srlock perms and announcing perms but I feel like there would be some abusing involved but I also think there won’t be as much abusing because who would become CP just to lose it because they want to AA

I can understand where you are coming from. But the CP - FD step is massive command wise, and if new FDs do not understand what their commands do or just don’t fully understand the concept of abusing then the same thing could happen with FD, you could also prevent people from abusing hosting commands make CP take a test to even get the rank CP to ensure that everyone is actually trying to just play the game. CP is a entry level rank and it should be considered that. With that being said I do not know a single CP that would abuse their commands if they had a chance. Most CPs are just trying to have a good time and help out the community.

This is part of the reason that they need a supervisor, FD+ has admin.

Yes they do, and that could be part of the problem, if they dont know what abusing is or havent had any commands before they are just as likely to abuse as FD. If CP had commands you would be able to see who is making good decisions command wise and use that as a promotion factor. Better to have CP abusing with fewer commands than having an FD abuse with more commands.

There’s still no reason to give them admin. Like I said, that’s what a supervisor is for, to use srlock. They could maybe add a trusted role for CP+, like EHR, but different.

They aren’t? A lot of CP are in GA, which gives them SHR admin, meaning they will be more experienced. CP’s can also learn from how their supervisors use commands, or at the very LEAST read the Administrative Guidelines.

I’m with you because when i’m doing sessions we have to wait for the supervisor which is the only one in the server and their dealing with CAOs so give host of sessions perms like only if it is for that amount of time.

Well when your CP you just Host shifts or co Host and if you would given all CPs commands or perm there would be a Lot of abuse.
