On the inmate team, the M4 gamepass disappears after you die and doesn’t appear until you rejoin the game. Happens to other people I know.
Proof I own the gamepass
It’s meant to do that to make the M4 less Overpowered. There is no bug with this.

They made a bug report about a non-bug so I changed it…
