Sessions Improvement/rework

When the host claims a Bloxcord spot, they will be placed on a new team called “Session”, they will then be sent to a new room which is gonna have a door into the session room.

In this room, there will be lockers that anybody on the “Session” team can access. When opened it gives you a UI, on one half of it it will say “Uniform” and on the other, “Equipment”, you can select simple things with the options visible being only the ones available to you. (So a CAO won’t see the AKM in their list but, the HR+ will)

Equipment
CAO+ Handcuffs, Taser
CO+ Glock-17
ERT+ Riot Shield, M4A1
HR+ AKM, Staff Handcuffs
OC gets their standard weaponry. (I don’t know what they get)
Any gamepass weapons will also be shown.

Uniform
CAO+ Rank Uniform
ERT+ Rank Uniform with ERT Vest
HR+ Roblox Avatar
OC get their Suit

By default, everyone spawns with their Rank Uniform and the equipment they spawn with changes on session type, if you have permission to edit sessions, you can edit loadouts and uniform choices with Bloxcord (Anyone on administration will get nothing to start with).

Shifts
CAO+ Handcuffs, Taser
CO+ Glock-17
ERT+ M4A1, Riot Shield
In simple, what they have if they are on the best team they have unlocked.

Sessions
CAO+ Glock-17, Handcuffs, Taser
ERT+ Riot shield

I don’t have much experience with any other type of session however, the allowed equipment list would only include whatever is the bare minimum for that session type.

Anyone on the administration side will get all the equipment listed in the top-most table (for their rank) and Staff Handcuffs too. The staff cuffs would have a dismiss option on them for all attendees, and an arrest option for all non-attendees, this sends them back to spawn (useful for shifts).

There would be 2 ways to get onto the team, the “team [PLAYER] [TEAM]” command and Bloxcord.

When somebody is added to the session on Bloxcord, they will be teamed to the “Session” team and would be refreshed. To stop abuse, you can only add people on Bloxcord if they are inside the session room.

For the more experienced of you, Bloxcord doesn’t always work and this may also not be possible through Bloxcord, so I have created a rough idea for an admin panel. (If it can work through Bloxcord, less coding for the devs!)

Everybody on the administration will get one if they are teamed “Session” and it will come with commands to help with sessions.

By clicking on a player, a small pop-up appears underneath the player with a list of commands.

Commands *All these commands will only work for attendees.
Sit and jump (for faces, some of you will say “FD has admin” but sometimes the sitting job may be given to the co-host or helper)
View (for shifts)
Ref (The player may be glitched)
And a new command, “Strike”, it will automatically add up and update on Bloxcord. When you click it will ask you to disclaim a reason, you can type or choose a pre-made one such as, “Speaking while PTS is active”. The protocol would still be, to walk up to them and tell them they got a strike, this would just record them so the host and co-host don’t lose count.
They can also type a few things in chat,
srlock
warp (for power and lockdowns, would be most useful for drills but also to avoid interruption)

If I have forgotten any useful commands, please tell me!

Another few things I should mention, all attendees would have “Attendee” above their nametag, the Host would have “Host”, you get the idea.

Spectators would request through Bloxcord, and if accepted, they are teamed “Session” and respawned, they get the same things anyone else on the administration. (except the admin)

All commands used by the administration are visible by the other players in the administration and all GAs, they can do this by typing “scmdlogs” or “sessioncmdlogs”.

To view all the commands you can use as administration, type “scmds” or “sessioncmds”

The respawn point for all players teamed “Session” is the Session Room spawn, mentioned in the first section.

If your are attending a session where you won’t leave the session room, you will only be able to wear the rank uniform, due to formal reasons.

Anybody on the “Session” team will automatically have radio channel 2 on.

When roles are required, administration players can assign you one by clicking on you, clicking “role,” and selecting one of the allowed ones. The roles will only appear if the user can have them. For example, an ERT can not be given the camera-operator role because it is PI+.
*The supervisor bypasses this, in the rare case where no one is eligible for the role.

When speaking on the radio, your role will be visible after your name and before your message. If no roles have been assigned (training for example) then it will appear as “Attendee” or “Host”

The locker system could be used by all teams in the future to select equipment and clothing.

This is a hell of a long read and it is probably not perfect so if you wish to see a change, reply to it and tell me what is wrong! * I do not expect anybody to implement this word for word, but I want it to be considered at a bare minimum.

so a whole remake of sessions? This would be so much work for the developers. plus basically remaking the bloxcord sessions would be even more work on top of V3 of BC for them.

and this would require more work for the host to set up

No, it is the same for the hosts, they simply select the type of session (like the already do) That is it, the rest is done. They already have to add all the administration and attendees to no extra work for the host.

what about the development for the sessions UI and teams etc.

this isnt needed

IDK what you mean but it sounds like what I am trying to make.

Not needed but would help so much, you could like DM the host to add you to Bloxcord and your already in training, no tps, no srlock changes. Your just there

There is no glock 19.

The Glock-19 is given to CAOs so that they can complete the accuracy section of trainings.

Why not just the glock 17? It would cost time to add a new weapon.

The Glock-19 is not new, it already exists and is the weapon which is given to CAOs by somebody with sufficient admin inside of a training.

They are not adding a new weapon

show us then

I did have sufficient admin for a time and I think I would have noticed.

I also have never seen a Glock 19 or ever heard someone mention it

Maybe I am wrong I will research and find out if I am imagining things.

I am wrong, I must have imagined it, I have changed it to say Glock-17

its gonna take a lot of work for the devs, even though i think it would be cool, its not needed. however, i think the “Strike” command might be useful if they switch up what it does.

Superintendent

I think this is one of them “Overkill” suggestions which would be great to see in-game and has its uses, but it doesn’t fix or add much to the point where it is worth it. So while all things have a use, it is not needed. I do agree with you on the strike command though, I think that it is probably the most useful thing for all sessions, and would be one of the two things which would be worth implementing, besides channel 2 on respawn which is very useful for shifts.
