Stateview Administrative Regulations

Administrative Command Information

These regulations were created to inform users about the key aspects and policies associated with using proper commands, and when to use commands. It is highly advised that all members holding a position accommodated with administrator permissions, views these regulations and understands it.

Administrative Permission Level

Gamepass [1] Information:

  • Basic administrative permissions may be purchased through Stateview Prison’s Roblox Game Store.

  • Basic admin can be bought as a gamepass and allows you to use certain commands on yourself.

Admin Commands [2] - [5] Information:

  • When achieving the rank of FD or higher you will be granted higher levels of admin.

  • All commands with <reason> next to them in the command list below require a valid reason to be used. (Exception: it is heavily encouraged to supply a reason for “srlock” if being used many times within a small time frame)

  • Anyone involved with an on-going session, in any way, is free to use admin commands on the inmate team while they are in the sessions room (along with warp if they are warping back to the sessions room).

  • Kicks, Server-Bans, and Game-Bans must have a valid punishment reason in the infraction comment.

  • Server-Bans and Game-Bans are required to be logged with valid evidence in the administration server.

  • You are limited to command use when teamed inmate, authorized commands are listed in the command list below.

  • Failure to follow the regulations above may result in being punished for admin abuse, as per the In-Game Rules and Moderation Guide.

Command List & Details:

  • Red (:x:) commands are blacklisted.
  • Blue (:ballot_box_with_check:) commands are permitted on inmate or criminal teams (unless used to abuse).
  • Some abuse is permitted in VIP servers. (Exceptions: GameBan, Kicks, Server-Bans, etc)
Command Permission Level Description
:ballot_box_with_check: kick <username> HR Bring up the punishment prompt
:ballot_box_with_check: ban <username> HR Bring up the punishment prompt
:ballot_box_with_check: gban <username> HR+ Bring up the punishment prompt
:ballot_box_with_check: unban <username> <reason> HR Revokes the ban of a user. This unban should be logged inside #ban-logs within the intel server.
:ballot_box_with_check: punish <username> HR Brings up a punishment prompt
:ballot_box_with_check: rankbl <username> <reason> HR+ Blacklists the user from all ranking services with a required reason. This command should not be used anymore; rank locks should be done on BloxCord.
:ballot_box_with_check: unrankbl <username> <reason> HR+ Un-Blacklists the user from all ranking services with a required reason. This command should not be used anymore; rank locks should be reverted via BloxCord.

Blacklisted Commands

Blacklisted commands are commands which you are not permitted to use whatsoever. However you will only be punished for using the command if it actually worked.

Exemptions from Administrative Regulations

Gamepass Admin Level:

Users possessing the gamepass admin level enjoy immunity from all admin regulations. This exemption is not applicable to users with a higher admin level, even if they own the Gamepass admin.

Leadership Members:

Members holding the Chief of Staff rank or higher are exempt from all admin regulations, provided their actions do not significantly disrupt the server-wide roleplay experience or lack proper reasoning.

Board of Governors with Elevated HR Permission:

Board of Governors with the Elevated HR Permission role are excused from the admin command reason requirement.

Game Administrators:

Game Administrators adhere to their specific regulations regarding admin abuse. If there are suspicions of admin abuse, refrain from taking individual action. Instead, report concerns to a leadership member or the respective management for appropriate handling.

Sessions:

Participants in an ongoing session are permitted to use admin commands on the inmate team within the sessions room or while warping back to the sessions room.

VIP Servers:

In VIP servers, users are exempt from all admin regulations, provided commands do not impact players in other servers. For commands requiring a reason, include an explanation such as “VIP” or “Private Server.”

Commands Execution Reasoning

When using commands which require a reason you should follow this format: [Cmd] [User] [Reason], for example; res odis67 Falling out of session.

If a user has asked to have a command used on them, use this format: [Cmd] [User] [Asked], for example; res odis67 Asked.

Additional information

If you forget to put a reason behind a command, you can correct your mistake by using the “logs” command;

  • res [user]
