So recently, I have been pondering the question: Who has more power?
Stateview Game Administration or a Prison Commissioner?
A Game Admin has SHR admin meaning they have more commands than a PC, but a PC might have more perms idk someone help

I’m not trying to be bias on this, but I do believe that Game Administration has more power, as we can punish PCs if they’re abusing no matter what rank we have. We pretty much check regular rank powers, and IA checks us. (yes, I just made a government check and balance connection)
Overall, it’s pretty close, but SVGA has greater power over regular ranks inside Stateview.
Hope this helps,

Well, I would have said differently because of how these work. GA Issues punishments from a document in reaction to abuse, there usually aren’t many options to choose from. PCs have much more freedom regarding their power like hosting and promotions.

PC can host, co host, spec, and host, rank, and sup. therefor we can do a bit we can issue minor punishemnts examples kick, ban, mute and a bit more. GA is held to a higher standard to prevent abuse but GA can toolban mute kick ban game ban server ban demote terminate and suspend blacklist and a bit more overall GA has the higher amount of power.
hope this helps

I see your point but since GA just reacts to rule-breaking behaviour by issuing a preset punishment from the moderation guidelines, there is little choice involved. That makes them less like powers I’d say. Many rank based powers have quite a bit more freedom to them.
And I’m not trying to criticize the GA limitations, I think they are quite good at reducing abuse.
