I just read on wikipedia the other day and realized, that the Superintendent prison rank and Facility Director rank only exist in UK prisons. The US version is just called Warden or Administrative Board. Also, American prisons always have Flags on the yard which is not the case in stateview. Additionally, American prisons don’t have a Lockdown alert and just do an announcement. Stateview is UK!!!
i have no clue what wikipedia article you have been smoking, but here’s my following review of ur dumb ahh post:
1. “Superintendent” and “Facility Director” as Exclusively UK Ranks
superintendent is used in a lot of countries. in the uk they dont use warden/superintendent, they actually use governor/director which may lead more to FD. so it wouldn’t make sense that stateview has all 4 ranks in the same prison IF it was uk based.
2. “US Prisons Always Have Flags in Yards; UK/Stateview Does Not”
no search evidence supports this claim. it’s also absurd that they would limit the game to U.S. audience by adding a flag. this makes the game more universal and less “political”.
3. “US Prisons Lack Lockdown Alerts; Stateview Uses Them (UK-Style)”
while yes, in UK their lockdowns involve alarms or announcements, i believe they have multiple types of lockdowns in the US. their lockdowns may be longer so an alarm would be downright annoying cuh.
lemme help break ur argument a bit more:
UK uses “prison officer”, US uses “correctional officer” like in stateview (Prison officer - Wikipedia)
US uses “commander” like in stateview, doesnt exist in the UK (Commander (disambiguation) - Wikipedia)
now i want u to look at this american Scott Boman - Wikipedia
isn’t it interesting that he’s the Chairperson of Detroit District 4 Community Advisory Council.
he was a candidate for Detroit Board of Police Commissioners (use ur imagination and see bog and pc).
before i come with my example, i want u to look at Second presidency of Donald Trump - Wikipedia
oh yeah baby, this lad has 17 mentions of diversity. coincidence? i think not.
For an example, here’s the titles in NY (New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision - Wikipedia):
looks familiar, no?
as i’ve told earlier, superintendent is the same as warden.
next time, @asusxofficial241, please do ur research.

I have actually done my Research and the german Wikipedia said that the Superintendent pretty much only exists in india, UK and australia. Quote “Many North and South American nations have an Officer in Charge (a) Warden (b) State Representative depending on the nation. European Correctional institutions have an more openly accessible ranking structure where officers in charge are mostly called Superintendent (UK), Supervisory Officer (DE). Asian Facilities are mainly managed by the Government itself.
(This is manually translated by me.)

we def have superintendents here in the us. i know for sure they work in police departments, not sure abt prisons.
the site you were on was not really correct, but again, not 100% sure if supers are in prisons. pretty sure they are.

its def in the US because the the roads and traffic lights are set up like its in the US, plus the guards are equipped with guns, and lastly the cars used for the ERT scream USA
Guns for guards aren’t typical anywhere really.
