Honestly, I believe that there should be more SV players. There are so many systems in the game, forums, and so many other stuff just for the game to be dead. Then, it’s kind of useless. They should definitely invest in having more SV players rather than so many systems, and all that for nothing.
They don’t need more players. The whole game is not designed around getting new players, more around having a dedicated player base all trying to constantly outdo each other by being in game for the most time, or joining sessions constantly, giving SV $$$
a dedicated player base with 9 players yeah?
Not exactly; SV has roughly 100-300 players in-game at any given moment, which may not seem like a lot but keeping that consistent (which it is) is a huge reason as to how they get money. I’d say most of their money (or at least a large sum of it) comes from MRs and lower HRs constantly grinding sessions to rank up. Of course, all the sales definitely contribute to their cash flow as well.
The size of the actual dedicated player-base is likely around a few thousand, a huge portion being superintendents.
I mean, look at this. The rank imbalance is huge, making Chairperson promotion chances incredibly small if you are not constantly grinding (and the system is designed this way).
Also a correction for my previous message, SV does sometimes dip towards the 50-player range during slow hours such as mornings.
buddy there are like 20 active players, so we need MORE active players.
