That spike is most likely when the thumbnail was changed. This will most likely not be permanent as this has happened before and the game had a pretty big spike in players.

i believe most of the game (and group) thumbnails are AI generated… and are designed so roblox players might want to click and try the game out
after some time they find it boring and leave the game, that’s why theres a big spike
