Tips when reporting/appealing

Hello SV community! I wanted to make a post for tips and important things when reporting someone, because I want those abusers and rule breakers get punished, so valid reports are important!

  • Proof:
  • For example, if you get killed without a reason and get it on video, remember to continue the recording, press “give up”. This is because after you press “give up”, it usually shows the username and player that killed you and it makes a lot easier to see the username!
  • When you are running after someone, for example, cross teaming. Don’t stop and write something to the chat, run after them! If someone else is also running after them, make sure that their username and possible chat bubble doesn’t block the rule breaker’s username. Also, always make sure that the username of the rule breaker is clearly visible, for at least once in the video, for about three to four seconds.
  • When you’re getting proof, make sure that there would be clearly rule breaking on the video, that can be seen. For example, if you see and ERT entering the CR, try to make sure that their rank would be also visible. Make sure that the proof would be good quality.
    • Make sure that the proof is either: 1. Embed, 2. Uploaded to YouTube, Medal or Streamable.
  • Opening a ticket:
  • After you have opened a ticket, do not ping anyone in the ticket.
  • Fill out the format, highly recommended that everything is in the same message.
  • Make sure that the video is not something that has to be downloaded, upload it to YouTube, Medal, Streamable, or make it so that it is embed and embed link can be copied.
  • Be patient with the response, again, DON’T PING!
  • You can report maximum 3 people in the same ticket.
  • Appealing:

  • Make sure to always follow the format. Remember that your appeal must be at least 3 sentences, recommended that it’s longer and gramar is used.

  • Write don’t ping anyone, ask why it was denied (if it got denied).

  • Appeal Cooldown is 7 days. If you do an appeal during the cooldown, the timer resets.

There’s no point in advertising your topic in the topic itself and we don’t want advertisements in general.
