Will I keep my rank when V3 comes out?

So V3 is going to come out soon, and I am wondering if I will keep my rank that I have in V2 when I play V3. I don’t know what it was like in the V1-V2 transition, but it’s probably going to be similar. What was it like when V1 ended?

I would think all low ranks would, but not MR or HR
